Syncrasy

App Design and Development

Syncrasy is an iPad app that enables real time collaboration between nearby participants based on proximity and location, harnessing iBeacon technology and built on top of a custom networking framework. It is the outcome of my masters research in the field of education technology.

WWDC Student Scholarship

App Design and Development

Given the challenge of creating an autobiographical app for the chance to attend WWDC on a student scholarship, I themed mine about travel and the places in the world I'd been privileged enough to work on projects. The app, complete with design and codin,g was created in just under a week and my application was successful.

App Prototyping

For a conference presentation I gave titled 'Tools and Tips for Prototyping Apps', I went through the process and designing an app and taking it through the stages of prototyping from paper sketches, through to a high fidelity, interactive prototype.

App Design

For an April Fool's Day competition, I designed a fake app called 'Undo' and a prezi presentation about it, complete with a video demo of the app. Though the competition was to see who could get the most views, I was awarded a prize for design.

Chimera

Web Design and Development

Chimera is Auckland's annual Live Action Role playing convention and each year, the theming provides an excuse to rebrand the website. Previous themes have included fairy tale storybook, medieval, and 1920s, as well as Chimera's sister convention Medusa.

I take pride in creating all components of my presentations, including demo code and designing engaging visuals.
